Menu - Presets
Presets in EVE are a powerful tool, allowing you to store and recall every user-definable variable. This means you can configure EVE to match a specific song, save those settings as a preset, and later recall them to instantly restore all device values to their previously stored state. This allows you to quickly switch presets between and during songs, making performance and workflow more efficient.

Using the Presets Menu
When you enter the Presets option through the Menu, you must first select a preset slot (1–28). Then, you will have three options: Exit, Load, or Save.
- Left Button (Exit): Returns to the selected mode without making changes.
- Middle Button (Load): Loads the stored settings from the selected preset, overwriting the device’s current values.
- Right Button (Save): Saves the device’s current settings to the selected preset, permanently overwriting any previously stored values.
Duplicating a Preset
To create a backup of an existing preset:
- Navigate to the Presets Menu, select the preset you want to copy, and Load it.
- Return to the Presets Menu, select an empty or new preset slot, and then Save.
You now have a copy of the original preset stored in a new location.
Important Note on Presets
There are no undo options when overwriting a preset. Once saved, the previous values are permanently replaced. Because of this, we strongly recommend maintaining a preset log and implementing a redundancy system by duplicating important presets.
